The Magnolia Silos are what turned Waco into a tourist town. In 2008, a show called “Fixer Upper” aired on HGTV featuring Chip and Joanna Gains’ home renovation projects, and the success of the show sent Chip and Joanna into stardome. The Magnolia Silos are owned by the Gains located near downtown and feature retail shops, food trucks, a church, garden, and much more!

The Texas Rangers are comparable to the FBI for the state of Texas. The rich history of this agency goes back past Waco’s founding in the 1830’s. The Hall of Fame and Museum sits on the original plat of land the Rangers operated from during those early years. Inside you’ll find antique firearms, exhibits featuring famous cases, and more.
