Moss Oak is a unique home that was built using a 20 foot shipping container. The interior of the containers has been insulated and covered with pine shiplap, while the exterior has been covered with cedar siding. The original container is still visible from the outside due to the spacing of the cedar siding. The original steel panels on the doors have been replaced with full glass panels. The house also features a rooftop deck with a custom cable railing system and LED lights underneath the rail, providing a beautiful glow at night. The deck can be accessed through an exterior spiral stairway. Take advantage of our inviting common spaces, which include picnic tables perfect for outdoor dining, a BBQ grill to cook up your favorite meals, and fire pits to gather around and enjoy the warmth of the flames. Our walking trail is ideal for a leisurely stroll, allowing you to soak up the natural beauty of our property. Whether you’re looking to socialize with other guests or simply enjoy some fresh air and relaxation, our common spaces are the perfect place to do so.
We live nearby and are available to assist you with any questions or issues that may arise during your stay. You can check yourselves in using a passcode that will be provided on the day of check-in. The house is located in a safe, rural area just north of Waco, close to I-35. It is surrounded by trees and you are welcome to use the common spaces that include picnic tables, a fire pit, and propane BBQ grill. Parking is available at the house, and Uber is also an option for transportation.
